Butter Bun Recipe

Butter Bun Recipe
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Yield: 8 buns

Ingredients:
·      250g Bread Flour
·      25g Cake Flour
·      5g Instant Dry Yeast
·      15g Milk Powder
·      40g Caster Sugar
·      ½ tsp Salt
·      100ml Water
·      80ml Milk
·      40g Butter (softened at room temperature)
·      Whisked Egg (for brushing the dough)

Procedures:
1.     Mix all ingredients except butter. Knead in butter when the ingredients come together.
2.     Roll the dough into a ball when the dough could be stretched to a thin membrane.
3.     Place the dough onto a lightly greased bowl and cover it with plastic wrap.
4.     Let the dough proof for about 1 hour until it is doubled in size
5.     Transfer the dough to a clean floured surface and divide it into 8 equal portions.
6.     Knead each dough into a ball shape and place them into the tin mold.
7.     Cover the tin mold with plastic wrap and let it proof for about 1 hour until it is doubled in size.
8.     Lightly brush whisked egg on each dough.
9.   Bake in preheated oven for about 25 minutes at 170˚C.
10.  Remove the buns from the oven and let it stand for about 3 minutes.
11.  Remove the buns from the mold and serve them.
